What Underwear Do I Wear Under Jersey
Hey ladies, designer Sarah here. So one question that I get asked all the time is what kind of underwear do I wear under the jumpsuits? This is a big thing with the jumpsuits and the pants because they're made from jersey. Even though, my fabric is amazing and it doesn't show lumps and bumps, you really do have to think about the underwear you're going to wear under it because you don't want any VPL ruining your day!
I'm here today to talk to you a little bit about what kind of underwear that I personally wear under my jersey jumpsuits and pants. The first option is this company I love, they invented the lace thong, Hanky Panky. What's great about these is that not only are they so comfortable, but they're made in U.S., so you can feel good about that.
They have two options. They have a low-rise thong and a regular. I personally prefer the regular because I find that the low-rise isn't as comfortable and doesn't look quite as good underneath my clothing. These are so great and because that they have this stretch lace, which doesn't cut into the soft, mealy bits that we all have on our hips as women and so that looks nice and smooth under clothes.
Another great thong option, I've just discovered is this company called Pact. They also offer a thong that has the stretch lace on the sides. But what I love about these, is that the bottom are made from an organic cotton. So if you're really sensitive about having synthetic fibers on your lady bits, these are amazing. They're so comfortable and they're made in India. And again, they're organic cotton and I just absolutely adore them.
And now, I know that thong underwear are not everybody's favorite, and I totally understand and respect that. I have known to be that person as well. So when you want to wear something under jersey, that's not a thong, my suggestion is this brand called Commando. And these are great because not only again, they’re really comfortable with, again, they're made in the U.S., which is super cool.
What you want to look for in a non-thong pair of underwear to wear under jersey fabrics is something that doesn't have visible seams, so especially along your booty, where a lot of pairs of underwear will have that casing with the elastic in it. That is like what causes VPL. You don't want something that's going to cut in. So you want something like this that's really smooth. These are simply just cut, but the fabric is such that it's not going to fray and they don't cut in and they're really, really great, especially if you don't want to wear a thong.
And the last piece of advice that I'll give you is buy underwear that fits you. I know that sounds super simple, but you'd be surprised how many pairs of underwear that I personally have had in my life that have not fit me. And whether they're too big or too small, they don't look as good under clothing. So really find a brand that works for you and buy your size.
Select underwear that you feel comfortable in, that look good under your clothes, and that will give you the confidence to get through your day. Thank you so much for watching this video. Have a great day and I'll see you next time.
