Shooting The New Fall Collection With Anne Therese
People ask me all the time, "Sarah, what inspires your designs?" There are so many answers to that question - architecture, vintage, the style of clothing I see when I visit Europe, but when I am designing, I always picture the woman wearing the clothes and where she is. More often than not, she's hopping into a car to run to the airport, walking through the city streets on her way to an art opening, or hugging her kids on her way out the door to her amazing job. She's always on the go, not because she's overly busy, but because she leads a full life.
I wanted to capture this sense of on-the-go-ness with a street style shoot featuring the fall collection and model, blogger, podcaster, and entrepreneur, Anne Therese Bengtsson. This Swedish beauty describes herself as "a stubborn climate optimist" and has a podcast called "Hey Change" where she talks with people in the sustainable space about everything from how to reduce your consumption of plastics to ethical weddings to how to stay positive in a contentious world.
Please enjoy these gorgeous photos below shot in the Mission District of San Francisco.
