Hey ladies, designer Sarah here. For today's Ask Sarah Series, we're going to talk about how to keep the top of your jumpsuit closed. A lot of people ask me, Oh, I love your Penelope jumpsuit, but how do I keep the top closed? It's a great question, and I'm going to go through a few options for things you can do and wear with your Penelope jumpsuit.

First is wearing a little bandeau top with my jumpsuit. You could also do a little cami or a tank. It looks really cute if you have like a little bit of lace on the to of the cami. It's a nice way to add a little pop of color and then you don't have to worry about your bra showing. And bonus tip, I wear bandeau over my bra when I have something like this on because I don't need to show my shoulders, so showing bra straps doesn't matter.

The second option is that you can take this to a tailor and have them put a snap in. I don't do this in production because everyone's breasts are shaped a little differently, they're a little bit different sized, and the way that this wrap falls on everyone is a little different. You can either do it yourself or you can go to a tailor and just have them put a little snap in and then you're good to go.

And then the final option, which I personally use all the time, is to safety pin it. Safety pins are your best friend. I've learned this from years of working as a fashion stylist on photo shoots. Try to get like a decent sized one that's pretty good quality. You want to make sure that it's not too bendy. And what you do is you kind of set the criss-cross where you want it to be, grab it, and stick it through the bottom layer and only the bottom part of the top layer. You want to take the pointy end and so you go through the under piece and you try to just barely grab the front and you see that I've kind of done that here and then it's just lays.

The key is you don't want to see any sort of metal on the front because you don't want people to know that it is safety pinned. You can also, if you want to do something cute, put a brooch there or any sort of thing, just experiment and try different things and have fun with it. And I hope that you enjoyed this video and I'll see you next time. Thank you. Bye.
