How To Wear Pink And Not Look Like A Toddler

We’ve all lusted after it…the perfect pink dress or bag or shoes, but what I hear a lot of clients say often when they gaze longingly at a pink object of desire, is that they have no idea how to wear pink. Black...easy. Navy…totally makes sense. Throw in a crazy color and people start to lose their shit. Make that color pink and people really lose their minds! Personally, I’ve recently embarked on a pink journey, and it all started with an Everlane cashmere crew in a color call “Berry.” Now, berry is really a nice way of saying “Barbie pink,” and the last time I wore that color was in high school. Spring 2017 Video Series - The Melanie Tee

Up next in our spring 2017 video series, the Melanie tee! This style continues to be a favorite with the SLSF ladies, and I'm not surprised. This pleated back tee has the perfect drape while still fitting through the bust and arms.  The scoop neck is tremendously flattering and versatile. The pleated back detail covers up your back side and glides behind as you walk.  Imagine yourself riding a vintage bicycle through wine country wearing this top and a pair of boyfriend jeans or killing it at the office with this tee tucked into the front of a pencil skirt.  You can get more easy breezy than this one! Get it in a ton of gorgeous colors here. Want to...

International Women's Day Service Event At St. Anthony's

Wednesday, March 8th was International Women’s Day. To celebrate. many organizations around San Francisco held events. St. Anthony’s is an organization that’s been around since 1950. For International Women’s Day, they held a special event in the clothing store that included bra fittings done by Third Love (who's bras I personally wear and love), and lots of fun retail therapy for homeless and low-income women. On Saturday, March 4th, I joined the St. Anthony’s Young Professional Council to help sort clothing and get ready for their event. It was a...

I moved to San Francisco from New York six and a half years ago.  I literally sobbed in my boyfriend's arms when I left.  I loved New York and my friends there and my life, but I had made the decision to move to San Francisco because I was already jaded by the fashion scene in New York and I knew I wanted to start a business, and San Francisco, while not a fashion capitol, struck me as being an entrepreneurial mecca.  I just got back from a visit to New York having not been back for three years, and I've never been more confident that my decision to move to San Francisco was a good one.  I LOVE my...
